The Kwan is a proven pattern for most species in saltwater fly fishing. From redfish and snook to tarpon, bonefish, and permit, the kwan has gone through almost every fly tyer's vise jaws and into the water wherever fish swim.
This is by no means an original pattern, just one with some very cool features. The tan variety has glow in the dark eyes, so while you wait for your shot on the bow, the eyes charge up and showcase a 'lit up' quality to them when they get sent into the water.
Tied in tan with glow eyes, and olive with orange eyes. Eyes are made by Peter Ellman at Evil Eye Fly and will be for sale at the shop and online shortly.
Tied by Joe Dahut on the Mustad S71 #1 with x-small lead eyes.
